I came from a generation of filmmakers who were obsessed with movies. We emptied our bank accounts year after year, self-funding project after project because we were possessed. It’s what we were born to do.

Years later, I’m lucky to make a living doing what I love. I write and direct films, series, commercials and music videos. My work lies at the intersection of creative storytelling, emerging technology and te reo Māori.
